Student Health, Safety, and Welfare
In accordance with the Florida Ethics in Education Act and Section 1006.061(1), Florida Statutes, all employees have a duty to report all actual or suspected cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect.  Employees will have immunity from liability if they report abuse and have a duty to comply with child protective investigations as per the policy stated instructions in the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee Child Abuse Policy contained in the Pensacola Catholic High School Faculty Handbook.  Failure to report abuse or misconduct is grounds for disciplinary action.

Reporting Misconduct by Instructional Personnel and Administrators
All employees and administrators have an obligation to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student. Examples of misconduct include obscene language, drug and alcohol use, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating or testing violations, physical aggression, and accepting or offering favors.
