High School Placement Test – All students who wish to attend CHS are required to take the CHS Placement Test. The STS High School Placement Test (HSPT) assesses cognitive abilities, both verbal and non-verbal, and basic skills including reading, mathematics and language arts. Middle School academic information from the student’s current school will be used, along with the Placement Test results, to determine academic placement in the CHS academic program.
Pre-registration for the Placement Test is not required. Test takers should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the test and bring two #2 pencils, the $20 test fee (cash or check made payable to Pensacola Catholic High School), and the completed CHS Placement Test Application Form.
