Catholic High Alumni, we are starting a contest to ignite your competitive Crusader Spirit in an effort to increase overall participation in the Building on Faith, Family & Tradition Capital Campaign that will help both current and future Crusaders!  We have set a goal to raise $6M to build new classrooms, add practice fields, enhance our art and STEM innovation laboratories, make improvements to our baseball and softball facilities and build new administrative offices. Thank you in advance for your participation!

Here is the ask—

Donate a $1 a day for Catholic High School over the next five years, only $365 a year!  If you want to keep your donations rounded to the nearest dollar, give $7 more a year.  See the table below for the total over the five-year period and how the payments could breakdown.

Catholic High School is a charitable organization and donors are provided a tax letter in January of each year that includes all donations made to CHS during the previous calendar year.

Now, realize the impact!  There are currently over 8,400 living Alumni.  Let’s do the ‘Catholic High Math’– if only 1,000 join the challenge at the ask, we raise $1,825,000; and if 2,000 join, we raise $3,650,000 – that gets us more than half-way to our $6M goal.  That’s incredible!!!

Here is how we will track and report on the progress—

  • We will track by Graduating Class
  • Based on percentage of living classmates who have entered a pledge or gift
  • ‘Bragging Rights’ will be posted annually in the Catholic High School Annual Report that is published during the summer – the first such ‘Bragging Rights’ will be published in the Summer of 2024
    • If you have already given to the Campaign, THANK YOU, and your pledge or one-time gift will be counted in the 2023-2024 Annual Report and toward your Class’s tally
  • The contest will be perpetual until the end of the Capital Campaign expected in five years
    • Yearly Class “winner” will be published in the Annual Report along with the ongoing “winner”
  • Additional Recognition will be given at the end of the Capital Campaign to each Class who has contributed a combined total that has reached a milestone included on the Pillars Plaque.  The Annual Report will also include the current standing of each Class within the Pillars identified.
