Keri Meredith, AEP Director

The Adaptive Education Program (AEP) provides support services to students who have difficulty in the standard curriculum due to an identified learning disability or a significant learning discrepancy. Students qualify for the AEP on the basis of psycho-educational test results and personal interviews. Students in the AEP may enroll in a Learning Strategies Course which provides tutorial assistance in content area courses and identifies learning strategies/study skills which can be applied in all other curriculum areas to enhance academic performance.

Students who have an identified learning disability and who have received accommodations in their middle school curriculum may receive accommodations at CHS only if they are registered in the AEP.

Enrollment is limited and fees for the AEP do apply. For further information, please contact the Adaptive Education Department at (850) 436-6400, ext. 630.
