In a commanding away performance, the Catholic Crusaders girls’ soccer team defeated Destin High School with a decisive 8-0 scoreline. Taking control from the start, the Crusaders showcased their skill and coordination, leaving Destin struggling to keep pace.

Strong Possession and Attacking Pressure

The Crusaders dominated possession with 62% of the ball, allowing them to keep the game on Destin’s half. Catholic executed over 40 attacking transitions, doubling Destin’s 20 and driving relentless offensive pressure. The Crusaders tallied up 25 shots on goal compared to just one from Destin, underlining their aggressive approach and precision on the field.

Scoring Power Across the Roster

The Crusaders’ goals came from a diverse group of players, highlighting the depth and teamwork of the squad. One standout moment came from Emma Lacour, who recorded her first varsity goal, hit an upper 90 shot from the top of the box to seal in the 8-0 victory in the 2nd half.
