Our Annual Theme:
Rooted in Christ – Growing in Gratitude
At Pensacola Catholic High School, our 2026–2027 annual theme, “Rooted in Christ – Growing in Gratitude,” invites our community to deepen its relationship with Jesus Christ and recognize the countless blessings God provides each day.
Just as a tree draws strength and nourishment from deep roots, we are called to remain firmly rooted in Christ through prayer, worship, service, and the study of our faith. When our lives are grounded in Him, we grow in wisdom, character, and purpose.
A spirit of gratitude transforms the way we see the world. Throughout the year, students, faculty, and families will be encouraged to cultivate thankful hearts—recognizing God’s presence in our successes and challenges, appreciating the gifts and talents of others, and responding to His blessings through acts of service and love.
As we live our mission of Pro Deo et Patria (For God and Country), we pray that this theme will inspire our school community to grow closer to Christ, strengthen our relationships with one another, and joyfully share the blessings we have received.
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” — Colossians 3:17
