Pensacola Catholic High School has held continuous accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI) since 1928. Every five years, a team from Cognia (formerly AdvancED, a division of SACS CASI), assesses PCHS to affirm our continued accreditation.
In the spring of 2021, our most recent accreditation visit, a four-person team from the Cognia Global Commission interviewed administrators, teachers, staff members, parents, and students. They renewed our accreditation and reported the following:
- PCHS is a School of Impact, a recognition of PCHS’s excellence and impact as an educational institution.
- There is a vibrant Catholic Christian environment that permeates the school.
- Academics and extracurricular opportunities are extremely strong at PCHS.
- Students report feeling safe and greatly cared for by their teachers and staff.
PCHS is also accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Assocation (NCEA).
